Adobe CS2 users must upgrade for Vista

Anyone who has software from Adobe's Creative Suite Version 2 (CS2) will be required to upgrade to be compatible with Vista.

As CS2 was released before vista support isn't built in. Photoshop will run on Vista with a few minor issues. Other Adobe CS2 components won't install on Vista at all.

If you want support for Vista you'll have to upgrade to CS3.

From Adobe:

"Q. Does Adobe support Adobe Creative Suite 2 on Windows Vista?
A. Adobe Creative Suite 2 was released almost two years before Windows Vista became
publicly available and is not recommended for use on this new operating system. While
some of its components, including Adobe InDesign CS2, Illustrator CS2, and Photoshop
CS2, install and run under Windows Vista with only minor known issues, other components
such as Acrobat 7.0 Professional do not support Windows Vista."

I can see from my server logs that a few people are having trouble installing Adobe CS2 on Vista. Unfortunately the answer still is an upgrade.
