phpBB back online and with version 3 Olympus

After phpBB was down for a while due to hard drive failure they guys there decided to release their new website and implement phpBB3 Olympus with the new Prosilver style.

It looks much better than the old version 2.




Hardware failure takes phpbb out.

At the time of this post phpBB was down due to hard disk failure!

"We’re sad to announce that during the switch of a failed harddisk to the hot-spare and the planned 2 hours required for the array to re-sync, we’ve been hit by an extremely unexpected double-disk failure which leaves us with a dead array."

The phpBB 3.0 Beta5 release means that the beta phase is almost over. The next release phpBB anticipate will be Release Candidate 1.

Now you have a full update path and support to help you update phpBB to version 3. Please read install and readme docs before attempting any upgrade of phpBB.
