Free Office Bundles

Microsoft Office still retails for around $200-$300 from the large computer vendors. Why? OpenOffice.org is free. Platasoft's Multimedia Office is a superior and completely integrated offering for Windows. Servize (http://www.serviza.com/) even offers a CD with OO, The Gimp, StarDic, and more on it. Besides the fact that Microsoft's word processor saves old data in the metadata for the file and the fact they do not support the opendocument standards, why waste $100's for something when an equivalent or better is available for free or $5-$10. That's just silly.
