Looking for Web Developer/Designer

We are currently looking for someone outstanding, who is familiar with both web and print. If you have strong development skills using PHP and MySQL as well as a flair for creative design using Illustrator and Indesign for print work, you might be the right person to join our team.

The position will require you to work on various projects that may involve web design & development, databases, or even software development as well as graphic design for printed materials.

Essentia Group is a young progressive advertising agency, with a strong leaning towards new media. You will be joining a dynamic, fun and friendly team and will have exposure to a diverse range of different projects that will definitely grow your skill sets.

Required skills
• Proven ability in developing websites using PHP and MySQL from concept through to completion.
• Graphic design skills, with experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Knowledge and experience with PHP and MySQL
• Experience with Flash/actionscript is an advantage
• Understanding of cross platform and cross browser requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Finished art for print
• Interpersonal skills
• Organisational skills
• Presentation skills
• Good time management

Your primary responsibility will be to undertake projects and work independently to take them to completion and assist in studio requirements in both design and development of web and printed works.

Education/ experience
• Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience
• Tertiary qualifications relevant to PHP/MySQL development preferred
• Graphic design and finished art experience

Salary and conditions
The salary package will be commensurate with experience.
